Life Lesson #1: Never say never!
After a very hard week starting on Dec 3, with the break in and the selling of the company Ed was working for, and other factors..... We put house up for sell (which we signed a contract on before we left),had a huge yard sale, packed up the remaining & moved back to Ohio. Of course we chose the coldest day of the year, 3 degrees with wind chill of minus 100 ( at least it felt that way) that was Sunday Dec21.
Life Lesson #2 : God Always Has A Plan!
This is a lesson that we as Christians have to learn over and over and over again, maybe it will sink in one of these days! Just at our darkest hour God shows up just in time! I was able to transfer back to my old plant and Ed was able to get his job back at DiPietro's again.

LongBeach Aquarium
Thanksgiving in LA
Our trip to LA was really nice. We were able to cook dinner for Ang, Matt & Arron, pies and the whole smear. I believed they enjoyed the feast! We did some sightseeing in Hollywood, Ed got an eye opener there! Its not as glamorous as seen on TV! It is fun to visit once or twice just to see the kooks & characters!
HOME INVASION!
After the trip to LA we came home to find our home invaded! We believed that they were in the house when we returned home from airport, too many things that were easy to pawn were left!
Pic 1: is our bedroom where they were trying to take our desk top and monitor
Pic 2: another view where drawers were ransacked & jewelry was taken
Pic 3: entranced point
Needless to say our kitchen renovation will be put on hold until our home is more secure IE: more outside lights and a security system! Maybe even a BIG SNARLY HIGHLY TRAINED GUARD DOG!

Kitchen renovation is coming along. These are cabinets that we built. The bottom just needs the top coat of paint and the laminet on the countertop, doors and hardware. The top cabinet obviously needs a little more work. Couldnt get a full pic of both together. Feels good to have upper cabinet installed.

Our weekend visitors: we have a flock of these birds that come to our house every weekend and sometimes during the week.I would like to believe that they just like us but I I think the real answer is they love our grubs! :)

Our bargin microwave. Marked down because it was a display model. There isn't a scatch on it and it fit perfectly under our cabinet. Complete with factory warrenty! Now just to find a place for my spices!!

Name Me
Help!!! I need a name. This is our bowling mascot. She is worn whenever we are ashamed of our bowling partners performance. Which, I got to tell you, she gets passed around a lot! We bowl every other Saturday with our church league. She received a makeover over the summer and grew hair. Please help us name her!

After talking with Tracy's dad and seeing what he did with pallet wood, my McGaver (Ed) said "I can do that", hense my new base kitchen cabinet. All thanks to Cintas and the pallets we are getting from them. This just needs the doors and a last sanding and primer and finally white paint. He has alreadying starting to prepare the wood that will be needed for the wall cabinet. The style will match the bathroom vanity that we had already finished. Not to shabby!
